Thanks for stopping by to draw a cutie orange with me today! We’re gonna have some fun with this cute drawing, and I’m going to have you draw with me, step-by-step. Before we get started, you will need at least three things:
- Paper
- Pencil
- Crayons
Now that you have your supplies, get into a comfy spot where you can have a hard surface to draw and color. Sitting at a table or desk works best, but try using a lap desk if you need something else.

A funny fact about oranges is that the fruit actually got its name before the color! The word “orange” comes from the Old French “pomme d’orenge,” which was derived from the Sanskrit word “nāraṅga.” Before that, the color orange was just called “yellow-red” because there wasn’t a proper name for it yet! So technically, we should be saying, “Why is the color named after the fruit and not the other way around?” 🍊😂
